Assistant Manager / Manager - Human Resources

We are hiring a dynamic and result-driven Assistant Manager / Manager – HR for a premier urban planning and infrastructure design firm based in Ahmedabad. This individual will be on the direct payroll of the organization while working under the guidance of and reporting directly to the HR Consultant.

• Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Manage end-to-end recruitment process for urban planners, architects, GIS specialists, engineers, and administrative staff.

• HR Operations & Administration: Oversee daily HR functions, attendance, leave management, and employee records maintenance.

• Employee Engagement & Culture: Plan and execute engagement activities to build a collaborative, high-performance work environment.

• Performance Management System (PMS): Assist in driving appraisal cycles, setting KPIs/KRAs, and tracking performance evaluations.

• Policy Implementation: Implement and enforce company HR policies, compliance practices, and workplace standards.

• Learning & Development: Coordinate training programs to support professional development across specializations and technical teams.

• Reporting & Coordination: Serve as the primary operational liaison with the HR Consultant for strategic initiatives and reporting.

• Core Capabilities: Talent Acquisition, HR Generalist, Employee Engagement, Performance Management, HR Policies, Onboarding, Statutory Compliance, Team Management.

• Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; high degree of initiative and problem-solving ability.

• Work Style: High level of ownership, discretion with confidential information, and adept at managing multi-technical stakeholders.
