About the role
A leading Australian financial services group is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join its growing security operations centre in Sydney. You will monitor, detect and respond to security incidents, conduct vulnerability assessments, and contribute to security governance programmes.
This is a high-visibility role within a mature security function, with clear pathways to senior analyst and specialist positions.
Requirements
- 3+ years in a cybersecurity or SOC analyst role
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or similar)
- Knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
- Relevant certifications: CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent
- Strong understanding of network protocols and infrastructure security
- Australian work rights required
